Common questions

Do I need any prior experience with coding or AI?
No prior AI experience is required. A basic familiarity with concepts like variables or loops is helpful but not mandatory — we'll cover what you need as we go. If you've taken any intro programming class, you're ready.
What equipment do I need?
A laptop (Mac, Windows, or Linux) and a reliable internet connection. We'll use free, browser-based tools (like Google Colab) so there's nothing to install before the first session.
Can I choose between the Mon/Wed and Tue/Thu schedule?
Yes — when you enroll, you'll select your preferred track (Mon/Wed or Tue/Thu). Both tracks cover identical content with the same instructor. Spots in each track are limited.
What if I miss a session?
We know life happens. Recordings will be available for enrolled students. That said, the live sessions are where most of the learning happens — we encourage attending as many as possible.
What is the refund policy?
Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the course start date (August 10, 2026). After that, refunds are not available, but you may transfer your spot to another student. Please reach out via email with any questions.
Is this course accredited or does it give school credit?
The course does not grant formal academic credit. It does produce real, demonstrable projects and a GitHub portfolio that students can include in college applications, science fair submissions, and resumes.
